Our Lavender Ointment is a natural herbal salve, especially suited for dry, sensitive, or irritated skin. Made from lavender blossoms, almond oil, and beeswax, it provides rich and calming care – completely free from artificial additives.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), named Medicinal Plant of the Year 2020, is well known for its scientifically documented benefits: antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and soothing. This makes the ointment perfect for gentle daily skincare, supporting the regeneration of delicate skin. Its fine lavender scent adds a relaxing touch to every application.

Production information:
For this lavender ointment, blossoms are hand-harvested in full sunlight – precisely when their essential oil content is at its peak. They are then gently air-dried for 2–3 days. The dried blossoms are infused in almond oil for at least six weeks to extract all active compounds. After straining, 9% beeswax is added and carefully melted at no more than 40 °C. To enhance the fragrance, about 20 drops of essential lavender oil are added per kilogram of oil. The finished ointment is filled into protective 50 ml glass jars.
