Our Wound Clover Ointment is carefully handcrafted from wild-grown wound clover (Anthyllis vulneraria) and sun-ripened calendula (Calendula officinalis) – two traditional plants with a long history in skincare.
Wound clover has been valued in herbal medicine for centuries for its wound-healing and antifungal properties. While it is still little researched scientifically, it is increasingly appreciated in natural cosmetics, especially for sensitive or irritated skin. Calendula, on the other hand, is well studied and renowned for its anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects, naturally supporting skin regeneration.
Blended with nourishing almond oil, rich cocoa butter, and protective beeswax, this ointment offers gentle yet effective care for daily use. A touch of thyme essential oil completes the formula, adding freshness and purifying qualities.

Wild grown: The wound clover used for this ointment grows naturally in the wild. Wild plants contain more active compounds than cultivated ones, as they adapt to changing environmental conditions.
For our Wound Clover Ointment, only wild-harvested wound clover is used, handpicked in full sun at peak potency. We cultivate the calendula ourselves. The blossoms are air-dried for one week and then separately extracted in almond oil for two months to gently release their fat-soluble compounds. After filtering, the extracts are carefully warmed and blended with 9.5% natural beeswax and 20 drops of thyme essential oil per batch.
